- To provide ThrillMetric features such as logging, lists, trips and your Passport.
- To calculate your personal stats, rankings, achievements and Coaster Thrillprint.
- To remember your preferences and privacy settings.

ThrillMetric does not show advertising and does not sell your personal information.
Private by default
Your profile visibility starts as private, and optional sharing and social comparison settings start switched off. Your ride history, ratings, rankings, lists and trips stay private to your account unless you explicitly change the applicable sharing settings.
Service providers
ThrillMetric runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides our authentication, database and file storage (built on Supabase). These providers process data on our behalf as necessary to operate the service. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives standard request information such as your IP address when fonts load.
Images and third-party content
Ride and park photos may be loaded directly from third-party sources such as Wikimedia Commons and other credited image providers. They are credited and licensed as required. When your browser loads these images, those sites receive standard request information and apply their own privacy practices. Links to external sites, such as official park websites, are also governed by those sites' policies.
Cookies and browser storage
ThrillMetric uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account information and the content you create while your account is active, and afterwards only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and maintain the service.
Your choices
- Manage profile visibility and optional sharing preferences in Settings.
- Edit or delete your ride logs, visits, ratings, lists and trips at any time.
- Permanently delete your ThrillMetric account and associated personal data yourself from Settings.
Children's privacy
ThrillMetric is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please ask for it to be removed.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access rules that limit your personal records to your own account. No online system can guarantee absolute security, however.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. See also our Terms of Use.
